I just started playing with the rugby club here in Düsseldorf. I was surprised by the lack of expats. A couple of frenchmen, but only 1-2 english speaking expats thus far. Just wanted to put up a post to advertise the club. Come out for a run!

How is the atmosphere down there? I had gone down there at the start of the season, but got tied up with work etc. Are they looking for players this late in the season?

The atmosphere is pretty good...I just started training with the club a couple of weeks ago...and I was able to get some time in our match this past weekend. We beat Münster. No problem coming out this late in the season, I think the Dragons are always looking for more bodies. They are still fielding two full sides...but we usually only have 20-25 at trainings.
You should come to training this week. I probably will not be there Tuesday, but I will definitely be back in Düsseldorf for Thursday night's practice.
