An apology to Mr. Owain Glyndwr

There is another message board other than TT.

In general it is far superior to this one in that the topic matter is rugby and all things surrounding it.

I have in the past accused Owain, publicly, on this message board, of being, a bit of a bigot.

Because of that and because of his posts on said other message board I now publicly, warmly and wholeheartedly regret my prior accusation.

You have more than redeemed yourself.

I wish Wales the best of good luck this weekend but if it rains, I think you're fucked.

An example of the quality of the postings - on Owain's thread as it happens is the following (posted by a Welshman):

"Whilst having a piss in the gents at MilStad after the GS '05 game, the Irish fella standing next to me turned to me and simply said "Well done". Assuming he wasn't commenting on my trouser snake, that said all I need to know about relations between the two countries. "

Absolutely agree with this. After watching this game with my son in an Irish pub in Wiesbaden, all other patrons - Irish all - and to the last man, came up, shook our hands, and congratulated us.

Yeah, you probably had a lot to do with the success of your team.

Well I sincerely hope Scotland get well and truly shafted.

Scotland are plauged with injuries. They'll be praying that it never comes to a scrum. They'll put up a fight but I can see their pack getting a drubbing in the last 25 mins.
