Calling all Uni students in Frankfurt (or anyone else who's young enough to be, or thinks like one)

I know there are lots of topics on advice on where to live, but every one's remit is slightly difference and I can't seem to find any current topics that fit my needs, so here's my question.

I'm moving to Frankfurt in a couple of weeks, and although I'm in full time employment, I like to associate with people my own age (26 sad.gif ), and as I'll be in an office 8 hours a day, it would be nice to come home and chat to someone than an office worker.

Anyway to my question...

Could anyone please suggest pleasant, 'young', and sociable (think bars) places to live around the main suburbs of Frankfurt. Specifically I'm looking for a place no further than 25 minutes travel to Willy-Brandt-Platz (which is on the U1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 line), or another station close by? What's people options about Bornheim or Bockenheim?

Further more, rent advice - sharing a flat with 3 - 5 other people, would €300 - €450 a month rent (warm) be reasonable?

Thanks TT'ers - I look forward to meeting some of you when I get down there
