Call for 'serious debate' on wolf

QUOTE
A "serious debate" has to be held on the potential impact of reintroducing wild wolves to the Scottish Highlands, a UK conservation charity has said. Richard Morley, of the Wolves and Humans Foundation, has forecast that public support for the move will grow over the next 15 years. ... He said farmers and crofters have serious concerns about the effect wolves could have on their livestock, particularly sheep, that have to be acknowledged. However, Mr Morley said there was also potential for attracting tourists...

After BSE and foot-and-mouth, farmers must be crying out for the reintroduction of wolves.

Just tell them there are wolves and don't bother re-introducing them. There's plenty of revenue from Nessy already so convice people wolves are there and they'll be lining them up.

Yeah but Nessie is there.

If they train them to eat chavs and white trash it will be a much better idea.

Farmers! Pah, don´t make me laugh they needn´t worry about their sheep at all!
The wolves would live off old and weak English tourists, it would keep the numbers down and the one track roads in the lesser populated areas would not be blocked by their meandering journeys any more.
Farmers would get to market quicker, kids to school and mums down to the village to do the shopping! Effiecency would go up and the economy would be boosted.
Lazy, unfit people would be chucked out of buses and made to do 50 km point to point runs, knowing that if they stop or dilly-dally the wolves will be at them! The health and vigour of the nation would go up as a whole( weaker, lazier ones of course being eaten)
Yes indeed it is a wonderful idea. Lets do it now! smile.gif

Trouble is, despite popular opinion..Wolves are generally quite picky eaters...if one could somehow fool them into believing that it was not only English touroids, it might just work...

as all sheep and most cattle in scotland are purely grass fed (in contrast to England and Wales) Scotland was relatively unaffected by either disease actually (although they were totally unfairly hit by the export bans)

I would guess the idea would be to put them in the Highlands but perhaps Govan could work?
worm
Scottish wolves would pose no threat to humans, they only eat things that have already been deep fried*

*luckily, this means the imminent deaths of Jordan, David Dickinson, Dale Winton and Judith Chalmers.

We could give them cooking lessons and the keys to a chippy twice a week!
There are no problems only challenges! Write that down it´ll be useful one day!

I guess you're thinking of Vanessa from Cowdenbeath? Unquestionably a monster but I suspect not what the Americans are wanting to see.
