Hi there, does anyone have any tips for where you can find information on, or do volunteer work-- for any type of socially marginalized groups? My german language skills aren't fantastic, and I'm not religious but I wouldn't mind helping out at any local churches. All and sundry info welcome, thanks a lot!

Maybe you try the Hamburger Tafel.

They collect leftover food from restaurants and shops and give it to people in need. I'm sure they can always use a helping hand...
