So, Where for dinner after a couple of pints?
Mexican? italian? That Bavarian Sapralott seemed to have good food, excellent beer and anice atmosphere too.
Or we could just get pissed and get a kebab on the way home.
Cast you votes here.

I'm up for any of them. Da Gino's is good, Zapata is good, Sappralot is good. Been in them all many times, not fussed which one we try out. Or a different one (e.g. that Kurdish place on Blutenburgstr.)
Satman, I hope you're around for this night out?

I am in this time. For sure! Don't care which restaurant as long as it's not Cafe
Neuhausen (I've been there way too often in the last couple of weeks).

Katrina
Oct 28 2004, 8:42 am
Sappralotts!
Is in Donnersbergerstr. but nearer Arnulfstr./Donnersbergerstr. tram stop than Kaufhof/Rotkreuzplatz.
Nice tasty large portions, not that dear, Augustiner beer and even if the football is on, it doesn't get in the way.

Sarplots is on Donnersbergerstr just a few doors from the Muddy Boot.
Nice Augustimer beverages and the food looked OK and the waitress was friendly enough.

There shouldn't be any footie on that night - no champs league on the 10th, and there's no Bundesliga either.
So we're sorted

Does that mean I can't drool over Owen Hargreaves legs into my pint?
Topsy
Oct 28 2004, 9:38 am
has he got nice legs?
I never got past his daft hairdo, personally.
Katrina
Oct 28 2004, 9:43 am
Ballack has lovely hair. Most women would be happy to have thick, wavy hair like Ballack.
Owen does have a daft hairdo but it isn't as bad as that Ferdinand geezer who plays for your lot. And as for Ray Parlour, well...
*****cb8ach I am waiting for your comment regarding me and footballers' hairdos*****
If needs be, I can reserve a table depending on numbers ok?

I would trade my flyaway locks with Ballack any day - you are right.
So are we eating in Sappralot, then? Is that the plan? That's fine by me.

Though socialble couple of pints in Muddy Boot and then have a table for (say) 8:30 in Sarsplot for dinner.
Well, if we're already 5 people making a reservation might b a good idea 'trina.

Okidoke, I just phoned and booked a table for 8 people, so we'll have plenty of room. The table's booked for 8.30pm, so shall we meet for a couple of cheeky pints in Ryan's Muddy Boot first?

Couple of cheeky pints first sounds cool. we'll have to run away from the scary Belgian quizmaster though!

hey, i don't know any of y'all, but would love to see a new part of town and i am here during the week. any chance someone could wear a big red hat or something? i know pootle, but what if he's late? i'll probably just come to the bar and opt not for dinner.
Topsy
Nov 9 2004, 12:21 pm
@Elfenstar - if you come to the muddy boot, then we usually try to get the table in the far-right hand corner as you walk in. (Once you get to know me and grtho you will realise this has zero to do with our politics

) But really there are only about 4 or 5 tables in the Boot, so if you walk in looking like you're not sure who you're looking for then we'll spot you and pipe up for sure

look forward to meeting you. I guess we will be there from about 7.30pm at the latest.
grtho, will you be there earlier than 7.30?

Neuhausen night out but sadly no "Mr Egg" stories from the Aston connection!
Don't remember getting home.
