Hello people.
Like many men and women i am quite interested in football (soccer). I know something about german football, but i dont watch on regular basis, although i know what teams are in what league etc.
Those of you who live in Badem-Wurttemberg, do you support any special football club? And do you attend games?
What clubs are in the area, Kaiserslautern FC, Karlsruhe FC? Any other clubs?

Yeah, FCK are the pride of the Pfalz. And are about to be sent down to third division. Dismal season.
KSC is having a good year, though.

Is it hard to travel from Heidelberg to Karlsruhe? I know it is possible to travel to Kaiserslautern with a semester train ticket, but does it work for Karlsruhe?
I would prefer to attend KSC games rather then Kaiserslautern games because KSC are playing at a higher level.
And is it hard to get tickets for these games?

Nope simple, you can get an Sbahn, IC or ICE train, takes between 30-45 mins & the trains/Bahns run frequently.

I'd say get yourself down to Hoffenheim (http://www.tsg-hoffenheim.de/) but I think the home games are all sold out for the rest of the year.
Only promoted into the 2. Bundesliga last year but are having a cracking season so far.
There's a big new stadium being build in Sinsheim - scheduled to be ready for the 2009/2010 season.
