the Ireland Wales match is the big crunch match of the weekend. You shouldn't miss it; they are contesting the Triple Crown.

DSF
tv is showing most of the matches...but not all. Of course no pub atmosphere at home.
http://scrum.de/modules.php?name=News&...le&sid=4696 Bugger, just noticed they're only showing highlights of remaining Irish matches. Have to head to pub myself so. No pub atmosphere in the Irish pub in Trier, very quiet place altogether.

I watched the last couple in my hotel - in the empty bar.
The one or two folk who came in muttered something in
German and left.
I think by the end the barmaid was quite glad when I left and she didnt have to put up with my oohs and aaahs throughout the game. I think the best way of describing me during the match at times was as a bad version of the When Harry Met Sally scene (you know the one).
Also I dont think she was putting her full effort into learning the rules as I inexpertly explained them...

I have experience of the "Yes dear" nods of the head...

Oops, interest in the six nations???!! I should check here more often! Unfortunately Ulm are playing in Münich this weekend, so no doubt we'll all be in a bar down there to see the match, but we might catch you all for the final weekend?

I've noticed the admins in Toytown love to rename topics, but do they always rename them quite so inappropriately?
This is a topic about
pubs that
show the six nations and yet it ends up named after the pub?
Just wondering as a newcomer if I should look at more topics no matter what they are called in case the admins have named them inappropriately too

GMcD
EDIT: I should add to any passing admin who feels like changing my password and locking my account - I'm only gently poking fun. (just in case - I dont know how sensitive admins are here and I know in some places they can be very delicate).

Oh well, our game in münchen has just been cancelled so they may be more than a couple of rugby fans hanging around in cheeers on saturday after all... Might see a few of you there?

Hi Donna,
err, I know DSF usually show the tri-nations, but I've never come across the Super 14, only hope I suppose would be an expat who has Sky or other such satellite access. If I hear anything I'll let you know. Definitely won't be in a pub though:-(
