I wanna say Thailand somewhere... I have seen it before, I think, and for some reason, Thailand springs to mind. Not much help, I know, but it's something... or not.

I went to that website up in the corner of the picture,
http://www.berro.com/ and it is a site about Lebanon. I couldn't find the picture there, but if you do an image search of
Lebanon beach, an image of what appears to be the same rock comes up:
http://images.google.es/imgres?imgurl=http...ficial%26sa%3DNAnd according to that site, it is Rawshe Rock, Beirut.
A picture of the same rock on Flickr:
http://flickr.com/photos/tarik/106729465/Looks like the same place to me, so I think the place you are looking for is Beirut, Lebanon.

@ Mariposa...
I lived in Beirut for a few years and the picture is definatly not of Rawshe Rock.
In fact my apartment overlooked the rock so i like to think that i know it quite well.

If you look here:
http://www.berro.com/nature/ the first .htm is your sunset. The other links are nothing to do with Lebanon, so I doubt yours is. I suggest you widen your search.

I can tell you one thing it is definitely not Brighton and before you accuse me of being stupid – what makes you think this picture is a photo of a real place.

Somewhere in California?!
(seeing as everyone is throwing random guesses...what the hell).
A lot of beaches look like that.

Looks a bit like like Indian Head Beach, Ecola State Park, Oregon, USA to me. Rilana's right, could be anywhere...

Oh okay. I thought it might be it, because it also has this "gate" and a few other rocks around it.

Ok, lets do some deductive reasoning.
The picture is taken at sunset or sunrise. That means a beach on the east or west coast.
It comes from www.berro.com. Someone posted it and I suggest that you ask them. They may have even posted where they took it.
The actual link to where you got it would help.

Somewhere I have a wonderful picture of that rock, taken with a telephoto. I know it is in Oregon along Highway 1, but can't remember just where. I wish I knew what disk that pic was on. I would post it.
