Offshore accounts for money earnt in Germany

Tax avoidance advice for residents of the UK

Hi everyone!
I am just moving to the UK, am British and receive royalties from Germany which are tax free there. Does anyone know anything about setting up offshore accounts, say in Ireland, where my royalties could be paid into? Would I still be liable in the UK for tax as I would be a resident?

Thanks in advance for any much appreciated advice,

Yes.

Unless you can claim "non-domicile" status due to original country of birth, or your father's place of birth etc. Although being "non dom" in the UK is about to get messy, so not an ideal route methinks.
