TT Table Football Competition

Venue: Die Bank, date to be confirmed

Having been reacquainted last night with the physical delight that is table football, I thought we could arrange a wee tournament?

Die Bank in Müllerstrasse has a couple of decent tables at the rear, and I am sure we could reserve them for a couple of hours one evening (a Tuesday perhaps??).

I would suggest something like a €2 per head entrance fee, so we can buy a tacky cup or something naff for the winners.

Also probably 2 per side, picked at random to try and even things up and slow down any ringers. Ladies will be welcome of course for all the obvious reasons,
and 'cos it will add a random element to the teams.

Rules:

1. All competitors must wear a football shirt.

2. No mad spinning of the thingies.

p.s. Johnnies Top Tip: If you do happen to be drawn on the same team as Renia, I suggest paying your €2 and feigning injury to avoid the shame of losing 10-0.

I may even know someone who might have one of these devices for sale JE if you wish to import some culture into the wilds.

I have no idea, but she's certainly crap at table football.
Renia
I think I did improve towards the end, we didn´t lose so embarrassingly the last few times, oder?

I would be interested in playing again if I am allowed to tongue.gif

Watch out for space. He's a ringer. wink.gif
Yeti
I've been training at a secret location with two table football ninjas, so I might not make a complete fool of myself.

Great idea JE.

JE: If I buy you a beer may I borrow a football shirt?
Renia
Shall we try and set a date for this in April? Any particular weekdays preferred?
Hutcho
I'd be keen for this.. I don't have a football shirt though, cause the real game is for girls.. unlike the version played on a small table, which is for men..
TheSwedishChef
I'd be up for some one-hand pocket soccer... oh wait.. Yep, OK, I'd still be interested.

I would be up for a tournament, but do we really have to wear football jerseys? Would a nice Rugby shirt do instead, or a hockey jersey? Day of the week, well, tuesdays are out for me.
GreenTea
I could be tempted to have a go at this, just for a giggle. But I have neither a football shirt, nor a rugby nor hockey nor any other kind of sports shirt. Would any old big baggy T-shirt do instead?
