For anyone who has met me, you'll understand my query below.

Know of any good men's barber in the Darmstadt area?

Cheers

Found one, thanks to all for your help.

I've been going to the one in the station for 18 years now (even went today in fact.) Sometimes not so good but overall okay

Go to the "Haarfabrik" and ask for Sandy. She's great smile.gif

I've been going to Toldrian in Gross Umstadt for the last 10 years. Sylvia always cuts my hair. There's a redhead (skinny as hell, but still hot) that does ok work too. DO NOT let Mr. Toldrian cut your hair.

They are located on Wartweg across from the EMS warehouse.

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that German men's barbers are the worst in the World? I have gone exclusively to Turkish barbers for the last ten years as German barbers always seem to assume you'd like the spikey-top look from 25 years ago.

Editor Bob, I can indeed...along the Rhein Strasse, before Luisenplatz, you turn right on the corner of the Tattooist and up the road heading south you'll find a Turkish barber on the right.

Totally true, Dan, althoguh the most I encountered were simply unisex hairdressers...where the clientele all looked female, even though one or two of them seemed to sport male genitalia.
