Getting photos done for a passport, CV, or visa

I need to have photos taken for my job applications and want something a little nicer than the passport photos at Photo Dose. Can anybody recommend a particular photographer or studio? I would like something relatively good quality and professional looking, but I can't spend a lot of money.

There's a studio behind our office, at Kleine Johannisstraße, I've had photos made there, they are making a few and you can have a look and pick the ones you like best. Don't remember the price though, but wasn't too expensive.
If it can wait til next week we could meet up for lunch

I just did mine in the machine at the office where i got my work permit, im pretty sure there are little booths in train stations... Not like your taking wedding photos.

Herwig will do a great job. He does all the stuff for the Hamburg Players and even managed to do a nice job airbrushing my dodgy teeth!

Laurel, he also made Mat's headshots, have a look at his facebook page. They're really good. (Handsome subject though )

I spoke to Herwig and he offers the sitting and a CD of digital photos for 75 euros. There is a place called Safeland at the Hauptbahnhof that offers the sitting and 10 prints for 64 euros. Does this seem like the standard price for something like this? It seems like a lot to me, but we don't do this in America so I really have no idea.

I also don't have an idea if that's the standard rate, I only know that Mat paid more for his headshots...

Of course you have to remember that he's a photographer and not a plastic surgeon

Just a thought - if anyone needs any airbrushing done on any CV photos etc, I'd be happy to do it free of charge. i'm looking to get some graphic design work when I move to Lueneburg and am a bit of a Photoshop whizz
