Ukrainian-Canadian moms in Munich

Any other such mums here want to meet up?

I'm a Ukrainian-Canadian mom of 3 months girl and I was wondering if there are any Ukrainian or Canadian moms in east end of Munich interested in a playdate?

Let me know!

Hey there! You might have more luck in hooking up with Ukrainian families through organizations like PLAST (Ukrainian Scouts). They have a Munich chapter which is pretty active, though the web site hasn't been updated in ages. I used to be a member back in Toronto. Although the kids who take part in the activities are quite a bit older than your daughter, I'm sure there are younger brothers and sisters smile.gif It also might be a nice connection to Ukrainian society in general.

Zdorov! Nice to 'meet' you here!

I'm not from Canada - am from England, but it's nice to meet some Ukrainians here.

I'm a singer, have a Ukrainian women's choir in Munich, but also teach early learning music and English in Munich.

Pryvit,

When did you move to Munich? Did you immigrate to UK or you were born there?

I've missed out on Ukrainian Easter celebrations the last few years. Anyone know what/where/when for Easter events on the weekend April 27, 2008? I'm also in the mood for a good water fight on Easter Monday - "oblivaniy Ponedilok". Might even consider going to Munich for the weekend, though Stuttgart is closer to me.

Sorry I don't know, check SUSN...http://forum.sus-n.org...they usually post upcoming events. I am going to Canada for that time...

Zdorov,

I moved to Munich in 1980 from Nottingham, England, and been here ever since!

Re. Ukrainian Easter - if your Ukr. Catholic, there's a church in Giesing: Ukrainian Church in Munich

Thanks for those two links! Yes, I'm Ukr. Catholic. Haven't been active the last few years since I've been living out in the middle of nowhere with very few or no other Ukrainians around. Think I might start looking around a bit more and making contacts.

Cheers!
