You know, just like the weekend before Touch Rugby Jackie toddled off to San Diego. Seems a shame to have tracht and only ever wear it once a year at the Wies'n.

may i also suggest a glühwein get together in june, a xmas party in march and an easter egg hunt in august...

seriously, any excuse to wear my lederhosen and drink beer when are you suggesting?? will try to get a baby sitter as my better half enjoys a good night out on the jars...

Can't do friday night. My Südostasienrundfahrt has been extended to include the smog choked isle of Formosa so I now won't be back until saturday 13th morning.

Bugger. I may now be somewhat late (i.e. possibly very) as I have an appointment in bleedin' Aachen at 1300hrs on friday that may last a fair few hours. I'll keep in contact with the missus to keep track of everyone's whereabouts.

oh, is there a big group going or just TT? Some of us can't make it (Graham, SteveNZ, you and Poots only much later on)... so we discussed moving it at the weekend.

he's not. But I meant he is in Cardiff this weekend so it doesn't fit for him... but then next weekend and the one after is probably ski time for most of us. So when do we stop moving the date to fit people, and just get on with it? If we wait for everyone to be here, I guess "Novemberfest" will become "January 2006-Fest"

I was planning on bringing a friend from the States to see a bunch of foreigners wearing Dirndl and Lederhosen drinking several mass as a true "Bavarian" experience. Heading off to Vienna on Saturday so won't be able to make it.

Looks like I'll have to find some actual Germans wearing Lederhosen on Friday.

Or just cancel Vienna, was a silly idea anway
