The other day i was at this Bavaria Bowling place ... and it sucked ... very few lanes and really congested ... but i heard there is this other which is kinda nice ...
Does anyone know the address to the hollywood bowling and any comments how the ambiance is, how many lanes? and charges if you know , reservation required or not ? Best time to go ?

Has anyone done that night bowling at Hollywood bowl (or some other place)? Was it good? I know some of the night bowling events in the states are fun with loud music, blacklights and the rest. Is this the same?
I just went to Hollywood Super Bowling on Forstenrieder Allee twice this week. I think its a lot cheaper on weekdays. There were a bunch of lanes, but my roommate had to call in advance to reserve a lane for us. If i remember correctly its 2 euros to rent shoes, and games are about 2 euros or less.
It was fun. They have waiters coming around getting drink orders.

Hollywood bowl ROCKS ! They filmed BIG LEBOWSKI there, and this one time, I saw Angelina Jolie with a still-smarting-red tattoo that said BILLY BOB... then he came out of the john, and they left together.

I prefer Isar Bowling (Tegernseerlandstr.) myself. Now is the season to bowl - must organise with work colleagues again soon. The disco bowling there on Fri/Sat. nights is good fun. They make you do silly games and stuff and your team can win rounds of drinks!

when you say that it was filmed there, do you mean at a Hollywood Bowl franchise location other than the one here in Munich? Cause the outside of the building in Munich is much different than the movie.
I have been to Hollywood Bowl here in Munich, and it was a lot of fun. You do have to reserve lanes in advance though. Reminds me of the bowling alleys in the states. Plus they serve Miller beer!

Miller beer. Yep, that was the only drawback.
