Hello all,
We are planning a week long seminar for a group of about 40-60 people (mixed couples and singles). I need a place that where we can be together but a little separate. I also need it to be somewhat no frills and inexpensive. I would like it to be in the Rhein Ruhr area, but I am open to just about anywhere.

Any suggestions? I need to book as soon as possible.

Hello,

We have a guest house in the pictureseque Black Forest resort of Menzenschwand, about an hours drive from Freiburg. You and your friends would be very welcome here! We offer bed and breakfast at 26 Euro per person per night including local tax. You haven't said when you were thinking of for your meeting - or what kind of facilities you need but if you'd like to get in touch we'll see what we can do to help you. Within walking distance of our guest house there are great restaurants, a lively bar and a wonderful swimming pool with spa along with the usual general store, post office etc. In addition, all our guests have access to free public transport which makes getting out and about really easy.

The town of St Blasien is about 7kms away (10 minutes on the bus) and is definitely worth a visit to see the magnificent domed cathedral.

You can contact us via our website www.thegrunenberg.com, email info@thegrunenberg.com.

Hope to hear from you! Phill and Kate

Thanks for the information. I have sent you an email with the details of what we need. You can read about us at the website address I included. The biggest challenge will be that we want a more central place in Germany and we have already done the course in Karlsruhe and Basal.

The German Convention Bureau has a very useful event location finder, in English too...
