Skiing tomorrow? Wednesday 27.Oct.2004

I'm graced with a weeks holiday thus wanna grab a day on the slopes tomorrow (Wed 27th Oct).

Can anyone suggest a day trip location from Munich where there's enough snow?

Any other slackers out there that are free tomorrow and wanna join?

A friend of mine spent the weekend in Hintertux. He said the conditions weren't particularly good, and it was quite hard compacted snow... If its like that on a glacier, then the conditions are generally pretty poor at the moment. But as a backup solution, Hintertux could be done in a day trip.

shaggy, look at schneehoehen.de, but the glaciers are long way for a day trip!

There are really only 2 possibilities...this early in the season.

1. Hintertux Gletscher
2. Stubaier Gletscher

pretty much shitty weather for you, looks like you'll have cloud hanging around all the time. a lovley genau tief and then the front moving in... but at least it'll be quiet on the slopes

ah well... was just an idea. Looks like I'll have to be patient a few more weeks... cheers for the posts.
