The IBF & IBO Champion Wladimir Klitschko (49 wins, 3 losses, 44 KOs) will fight the WBO Champion Sultan Ibragimov (22 wins, 0 losses, 1 draw, 17 KOs) late Saturday night (early Sunday morning) for the first unification bout since 1999. Whoever wins (Klitschko by TKO in the 8th) will hold 3 of the 5 Heavyweight Champion belts.
Coverage will be on RTL and start at 03:30 am Sunday morning. Rebroadcast at 10:00 or 11:00 am. This should be quite a good fight and promises lots of pre-fight hype (it's at Madison Square Gardens, NYC) and Don King (the bastard that is destroying pro boxing) is sure to be involved and waving as many flags as can be stuck in his fat little fingers.

Edit: Just saw IBO mentioned in the post above...
The simple fact that there are so many different organisations and champions just makes the whole thing a joke anyway.

Yeah, IBO is more a "journeyman's title". Klitschko sould really just give that one up and let some up-and-coming fighters battle over it. Sadly, it is one of the 5 titles, though (4 major, 1 minor being the IBO). I'm confident that Klitschko will beat Ibragimov and take the WBO title. Hopefully Ruslan Chagaev (or Nicolay Valuev depending on who wins their up-coming bout) will give Klitschko a shot at that belt (WBA) and Oleg Maskaev (or Samuel Peter if he takes the title from Maskaev in their up-coming fight) would also be brave enough to offer Klitschko a shot at that belt (WBC). I really don't think that any of the current (or potential) title holders can beat Klitschko and he has a good chance of taking all the belts.
Should be a good fight, though.

Yep, have been psyched about this for weeks. We're going to go to bed early so we can wake up at 3:00 and watch the fight live. Both are good fighters but I agree, Klitschko is gonna take this one.

I will absolutely stay up to watch this as I'm a massive boxing fan and totally miss my sky sports from back home. This should be a bloody good fight but the whole atmosphere will be spoilt for me a bit because of the German comentators. The reminds me, I must get Sky sorted out over here. Although, usually these kind of fights are pay per view on sky.

Klitschko wins fight marked by inactionApart from the pleasure of seeing Klitschko without his shirt on, this fight was an absolute snore-fest.

I was also excited about this fight. I knew that Klitschko will defeat Ibragimov but I did expect a better fight. Never the less Klitschko fought and made sure that he will win without taking any unnecessary risks. So I look foward to the next few boxings fights and the next two belts.
It is a bit stupid though e.g, being the world champion with one belt and knowing that there are another 4 other world champions out there with the other 4 belts. But now he has got three belts.

Just watching the undercard of this fight and the bout between Irish middleweight John Duddy and Walid Smichet is brilliant.
