Furniture cost comparison between UK and Germany

we are moving out to germany in april, my husbands company is paying for shipping of furniture,

we have a built in cooker fridgefreezer and bedroom furniture, so we will have to buy these.

is it cheaper to buy them here or wait until we get to munich?

probably cheaper here. IKEA is generally way cheaper.

Cheaper here - especially if you want "modern/contemporary" style furniture.

It's much cheaper here than in the states, so I'd have to guess it would be cheaper here for you, as well.

Maybe your husband's company would be kind enough to cover furniture delivery costs if they're not going to pay for a big move?
