I could hear internal mom voice nagging me to check my oil and finally gave into it today and realised that I actually do need an oil change (I'm running low and don't know what type of oil is in there to begin with)
I've planned on taking a day trip on Monday and so was wondering if anyone knows of a place in Berlin (preferably close to Prenzlauerberg) that is open to do an oil change after 5pm Friday or anytime on Saturday?

You're running low on oil though? Then you have a leak and should have that checked. Tell them. Oil doesn't just disappear mysteriously (unless it's an old British car, they like to mark their territory and it's perfectly all right.)

Don't drive your car when the oil level is below the minimum on the stick. It'll probably overheat (esp if oil is not showing on your dipstick at all) and go bang pretty quickly. Check your owner's manual for the type of oil recommended and top up if required, even before your oil change - 1 Ltr of oil is a hell of a lot cheaper than a new engine.
