Topics have replies but show view count as zero

Huh?

I've seen a few threads lately which have some replies, but number of views is zero.

How come?

I have seen this too but thought nothing of it. V. odd.

Editor Bob must be working on improving the software. Does look strange though dunnit.

I have had whole posts disappear and others that have miraculously tranformed into mere shadows of their former selves - I too believe that their is a glitch in the software!

...or you simply had some posts removed. Check your "junk ratio".

I just noticed it, too, and thought it was always like that and I just never saw it before. Could it be that if one posts something, it doesn't count as a view?

Seems like the view counts aren't being updated. If you look at the view count for a topic, then go into the thread, go out again, and refresh your browser, the view count should increase, but it doesn't.

Maybe we should find Neo. Only he can help us now.

I've been watching this and it seems as though the page views are being counted but only updated every hour or so. Very strange. We await guidance from The Leader.

Yes, I've noticed that too. I reckon it's a deliberate move to deflate the egos of people whose self-esteem is fed by watching the view count shoot up in the first 5 minutes after they post on a thread.
