Students, interns, and under-25s meetup

So I know its ridiculous to start planning this Friday's shenanigans on Monday...but i AM ridiculous. So i'll roll with it.

I want to karaoke. There are certain people *eyes these people* who have promised to karaoke with me. It's time to pony up.

I know there's karaoke on Friday's somewhere...i'll do my research in a bit.

So my vote is: meet at said bar where karaoke is happening or at other drinking location. drink. get drunk. proceed to karaoke.

I'm not coming but we did kareoke last year somewhere by peaches. Will ask my mates and see if they can remember what it was called. The arc does kareoke...not sure what night though, maybe fridays.

So it looks as thought the crowd this weekend is going to be on the smaller side. This allows me to be generous in letting those people who said they would karaoke with me off the hook for another week. But be prepared for karaoke SOON! muuust happen.

Any other ideas? Something small and comfy? I'm up for whatever!

Shamrock does karaoke on Sundays and Mondays, Ned Kellys on Thursdays, and the Arc is Fridays as far as I know.

what about a pool hall for Friday? you know you wanna!

Not sure how expensive it is, but every other one i've checked out seems to be in the ball park of 8-10 euro per hour, if we split that several ways it should be a cheap night out.

What do we say to meeting at 8:30 in Isartor? Get a table early?

it's probably worth booking it in advance. These places fill up really quickly on weekends

Across from my flat theres a place that savage used to go to, also means there is a place close by to chill/watch a flim, oder?

ok so looking through TT, excluding the places that only have one or 2 tables, this is the best i could find:

no idea how good this place is or what its facilties are but i assume it would have more than one table by the name. it is near isator.
the second is a bit further out and is not very close to donnerburgerbrücke and would require some walking.

There's also the Schelling Salon--famous for having been around forever and having been a favorite hangout for a certain former head of state back when he was a poor bum who couldn't pay his tab (don't want to set off the content filter at work so I can only give a hint: rhymes with "spitler"). Location is pretty convenient and there are a number of other places within walking distance.
