Earlybirds may not get any worms this Thursday but they may get an eyeful as the moon passes through the Earth’s shadow between 4 am and 5 am. While not quite as spectacular as a solar eclipse, a lunar eclipse is much eerier due to the lurid shade of red our lunar buddy assumes.
Set your alarms and hope that the rain and clouds in the forecast for Wednesday have dispersed by the time this phenomenon begins. The last one in 2001 (iirc) was a traffic stopper!
