Meet up for 20-somethings who are on the wagon

This meet up is open to all English-speakers in Munich aged between 20 and 30 years. Newcomers to the group are always welcome. Join us for drinks, chat, a laugh, and meeting new people.

The date is fixed, as given in the title above. The venue will be decided by vote below.

To join the event, simply post your username and preferred venue. The way it works is that you copy the list of names from the last post in the thread, paste that into your post, and then add your own name and venue vote to the bottom.

You can change your attendance or vote by re-coping and pasting at anytime before Wednesday at 6am. So if you see where democracy is taking the group and don't like it, feel free to change your vote. Hell, group together and form a block to change it to something else. Once the group has decided though, there's no going back. Also, only vote for a venue if you actually plan on showing up. On Wednesday morning, I'll look at the votes, ignore them, and post the executive decision.

Havana Club: Great place, great Layout for socializing, service is too slow for more than 15 people
X Club: Perfect for a meetup of any size, we'll go again.
Negroni: A nice place for drinks, too small for a large group, also most people sit at tables making standing awkward.

I'm keeping the polls open until close of business today, although it looks like flaschenbar is currently in the lead.

Just a thought...based on the pictures they had up it doesn't seem like the largest place, although they say it can hold 100 people. Might be one where we need to call and reserve/alert them to our presence. I'd be willing to stop in and talk to them if you want, since I walk by there a couple times every day.

Oh, and Lane, what are you going to do when you run out of synonyms for unorganized and indecisive?

I've been there and this place is smallllll. I'd say you can fit 50 or 60 in there easy and more at a push. From my experience, tt's not normally that busy so I'd say it shouldn't be a problem...unless the 8 people signed up are bringing 10 guests each!

There are a lot of people who don't sign up, but still come. I'd say its usually double the sign-up list.

I'll be holding a drink as well. It will hardly be my first though, as I'll be having after-work drinks with the coworkers beforehand. The upside is I might wear myself out a bit earlier and get a good night's sleep for a change (rather than the da Vinci sleep I've been living with recently...)
