Meet up for young English-speakers in Düsseldorf

Taking the advice of globalgirl, I have decided to start a new thread for those who are interested in a meetup in Düsseldorf this coming Saturday. To make things easier, I will suggest the American bar called out Chill Out in the Altstadt and to meet at 2pm. Not very original I know but thought it would be easy to find and in case someone fancies snacks and/or lunch, then nachos or buffalo wings are always good

Ohhh, would absolutely love to join you guys, but am in Berlin this weekend! What a shame, I was really looking forward to! How about another meet up during the week? I would not mind a drink or two sometime after work! :-)

I know it is impossible to have everyone come, but I would not mind meeting at least a couple of you for a start!

Is chill out a big place or will we be able to find each other easily? If not then I guess we can just meet at the bar. I think I will wear a red jumper to make myself identifiable just in case.

Otherwise look forward to meeting some people tomorrow.

Oh just to let everyone know that I myself will be there at about 2.30pm due to the train times from out here in the sticks...so whoever gets there first, just grab a table...how will we recognise each other?!?!

Sorry for not coming along...I really wanted to but was feeling really sick...! I even missed the 6th Nations game (France vs England)...;-( but considering the fact that France lost, it is not such a shame after all...!!!

sounds like you all had a good meet - shame I couldn't come! Next one as yet seems to be for next weekend, 2pm o'reilly's irish pub in düsseldorf altstadt, 2pm 1st march. Theres another thread for it. All other venue suggestions welcome!
