I have a 12 " ibook G4 that is having start up problems , will start up once out of 20 times. Need shut as I replaced it ,Offers?

True enough, and it not often you find a Mac that `start up once out of 20 times.`Sounds like a software problem. What is the price and whatare the specs?

I dont know what the price is I have basically given up on this one. Hence I asked for offers, I will accept the one I think is good. It is an Ibook G4 it has the maximum memory for that model I think it is a 900hz but I am not sure. The pproblem is one that is often reported on the web. seems to be motherboard fault from manufacture. It can be repaired but I took the opportunity to buy a new one.

Before you give up on it, check to see that the Airport card, if it has one, is correctly seated. Sometimes the problem is solved by simply taking the card out and re-seating it. Much less often, it's a defective Airport card, and a new one solves the problem. Or, as you noted, it is the logic board, in which case, sell it for parts.
