Temilade lives in a village in Nigeria. Her marriage day approaches and her father has promised her to a local man. The dowry has been exchanged, and all the arrangements made. The only thing left is that Temilade must undergo the ritual of genital cutting in order to be ready for marriage. Follow her journey from Africa to the USA, as she struggles between protecting her own safety and helping the other women who fall victim to this awful practice. Ibironke Oloani´s first play.
