I dunno...whenever I'm in those places it's a mix between 50's, rockabilly and modern 'indie' rock sounding stuff. I've only been to half those places though. Haven't checked out Bassy, Monkey Club or Roadrunners Club yet.
They don't seem to appreciate good 60's music here that much

Of course it's not every night a sixties/garage night, but at least I've heard some of this stuff at KingKongKlub, White Trash and Bassy.
Additionally, there is a number of bars playing that stuff, but it's hard to remember, as I generally don't go to bars to listen to music (KingKongKlub, more a bar than a club, as an exception).

I like 1960's and 1970's nightclubs. I just moved to Berlin. I'm from San Francisco. give me reviews, Dylan, when you get em. Excellent topic. thanks for bringing it up.

going only to bang bang club for concerts. not so many kids then (depends of course), BUT: because of the location near touristy hackescher markt i assume many young tourist groups are going there to party at the weekend.

I thought I'd check it out on Saturday as I was planning on catching Moneybrother there on Thursday. I had something of a Gary Glitter moment: the place was full of 15 year olds. In the time-honoured tradition of the tabloid journalist, I made my excuses and left. Definitely to be avoided (if you're older than 21).
