Hotels in or near Munich Neuhausen
Some recommendations
Does anyone know of a nice (4/5 Star) hotel in or around Neuhausen?
TT's favourite hotel of choice is the Hotel Laimer Hof at Laimerstr. 40, Munich Neuhausen.
I know the owner, Sebastian, quite well. He's very friendly and speaks good English.
They have about 40 rooms in an old villa type building. It's in a very quiet cosy area of the city, a short walk from the Nymphenburger Castle and gardens, and about 10 or 15 minutes from the city center by tram or bus. It's perfect for visiting parents, or a large number of wedding guests, etc.. Single rooms are about €70, doubles €90. That includes tax and a lavish breakfast.

There's also the Hotel Rotkreuzplatz. It's only 3 stars, but it doesn't look too bad, and it's right there where the action is.
Or a colleague once recommended the Hotel Nymphenburg, which is even nearer to your flat, Satman. It's a "gay-friendly" place, but I don't think it's exclusively gay.

I'm not too sure what they're after to be honest... I'm guessing marriot/holiday inn/renaissance type of thing. They're friends of my parents, so I'm playing it safe!!
The Erzgiesserei Europe is a nice hotel.
I have just booked my inlaws in there for next weekend (well, you wouldn't want them in the flat would you?)
A double room costs €110 for the Thursday night and €85 for the Friday and Saturday for two people.
Previously, visitors of mine have stayed at the Hotel Europe on Dachauerstrasse, which is similar but about €20 a night more expensive.
There is another hotel just near the corner of Dachauer and Sandstrasse which is only €75 per double room per night, but i had a look at one of the rooms the otherday and it is a bit dingy.
