Hi All,

My brother has moved to Coventry in UK for his PG Studies at Coventry Uni.Fortunately he's got a fine accomadation near by to the Uni.But,he has not yet managed to get a part time job to support his living expenses. He's desperately searching for one.

Could anyone advice him where and how to look for a job in Coventry? He is having NI Card and Security License ,which he secured during his stay at Kingston(UK) .From his search he couldn't find any jobs in shops, pubs, hotels etc..As per his opinion it is very hard to get part time jobs in Coventry. Is it so?

Can anyone suggest any particular websites to look for jobs in Coventry?Does that really help?

Any advices regarding this matter would be appreciated.

Thanks and Regrads

Googling 'jobs Coventry', I get www.mycoventryjobs.co.uk which might be a good start.

It's also a short bus ride to University of Warwick which is often looking for temp/part-time staff.

My girlfiend used to go to Warwick University (in Coventry) and found a couple of jobs through temping agencies. i knew of people doing waitressing, working in the theatre and office work.

There are quite a lot of call centres to the south of Coventry and round the A46 ring road (companies like Severn Trent Water) if his English is any good. The University of Warwick had a temping agency on its campus (probably not exclusive to Warwick students) which might be a way in. Think it was Pertemps
