So, for all those complaining about a lack of gigs in Nuremberg, this is a must-see:
Desi, Brückenstrasse 23, Saturday 16.02, 20:00
Rock gegen Rechts
Verge (Nu Rock/Nu Metal) - One of the best Nu-Rock/metal bands in town with hyperactive singer
Trace (Indie/Alternative) - UK-style noise-rock/shoegazer with superb songs and just-released new CD
la Boum (Ska/Pop) - Very danceable (mostly) accoustic ska-pop (although they sometimes go electric)
All local bands and theres something for everyone here. I challenge anyone to watch La Boum and not smile, Verge and not mosh and Trace and not become deaf, because they tend to be VERY VERY LOUD INDEED.
At 2,50 its not worth not going. If you get bored the Desi has a good bar outside the hall where the bands are.
If anyone doesnt know where the Desi is, its here:

Of course, having said its essential, Im away in Dublin at the weekend, but otherwise I would be there.
