Pro-München - a far right political party

Both pro München and BiA are far right political organisations.
The latter is effectively a cover list for the fascist NPD.
The money behind, people in and candidate of both lists are either of the ultra conservative far right or out and out fascists.

They play the social card a bit, particuarly in areas where people feel let down (often with good reason) by the big parties.
Particuarly poorer people in poorer areas that feel let down by the SPD but also in more well to do areas where there is a feeling that "them up there" haven#t listenend to the feelings of local people.
Their "plan" is basicly anything "national".
eg: More Kindergeld for Germans only etc.

@sin: Why would you hold your tongue on that one? it's a terrific response, especially if you add chemical castration in there. Better if you keep it as a thoughtful response, though, instead of a heat-of-the-moment angry retort.

I could be wrong, but I expect that the fringe parties will not do well in the Munich election.

What ever happened to logic and reasoning? You would think people would learn from the past. Maybe what happened to Jews in WWII should be done to the neo-nazis just to remind them of the error of their ways? Not all muslims are terrorists and some may argue that not all terrorists are muslim. Any place of prayer and reflection should be welcomed into a democratic community. Albeit, perhaps a muslim loyal to the local government could infiltrate the mosque to keep an eye on the propaganda. But that would be sewing the seeds of mistrust. I say let them have their mosque and the first time there's an incident of violence from a muslim, just blow up the mosque and everyone inside it (wouldn't want to take any chances) and never build a mosque again. Of course, you could do the even more logical thing and ban religion altogether. That way no one has a reason to hate anyone unless it's based on the color of their skin (I really haven't seen any minorities since I've been here, so that shouldn't be a problem) or, god forbid, their own merits. Well, so much for wishful thinking. I hope the issue can be resolved amicably.

Sin mate, yeah it's easy to forget when you live in inner Munich that there is a world outside the Mittlerer Ring and some of those suburbs have some are a world apart. Since the last boundary change, GBV is now in the Munich West direct Bundestag constituency and "our" MdB is Hans Peter fucking Uhl elected by the Obermenzing Oma muppets.

Just a week to go to the elections.
All five of Germany's major parties will be in the new stadtrat and smaller parties have it fairly easy to get seats in Munich as the council is so big.
Of couse a lot may change in the last 7 days, especially with Hamburg voting tomorrow but I'm not seeing any reason right now to change my prediction.

Well I've just had the delight of fishing a BiA flyer out of my mailbox.
The BiA is the more headbanging of the two far right parties standing ans is an NPD front organisation.

What they want:
Subvention in enrgy, public transport and leisure activities for those on benefits, so far so good I guess.
But that takes up about 5% of the surface area of the leaflet.

The rest of it is the usual non stop rants against people with migrant backgrounds and gays:

Immigrants are to blame for housing issues and high rents apparently.
No Sendling Mosque as that "would encourge immigration of Muslims".
Pure Aryan school classes.
No public money for any work on migrant issues or for gays.
More public susidies for "traditional" social activities.
Working with / advising illegal immigrants should be a crime in itself.
No healthcare or education for illegal immigrants
Encouragement for migrants to return to their "homeland"
Rapid deportation of immigrants who commit crimes.

And just in case you don't get the picture, thees three foreign looking men in the shadows on the front.

I got the flyer, too. Now I can add it to my collection (I also got the Pro-München one, mentioned in previous thread.) I also saw two of their posters in my neighborhood, both torn down and thrown on the side of the road. One of them was torn off the frame and cleverly concealed underneath it was a NPD poster from Berlin...

Yeah, an aquaintance of mine who tripped on a crack in the pavement and sub-conciously grabbed a poster stand for support, reported that as it disintergrated BiA posters are in fact NPD underneath.

I guess there's no secret about the party's Herkunft...
