In case anyone´s interested in meeting up
canuck
I was thinking of watching 1860 Munich play sometime too...but I would prefer seeing them play in the old Grünwalder Stadium. Watching a game in an empty Olympiastadion sucks!! Mr. TheJarvii and I were even thinking aboot going down to watch Unterhaching play.

If you're planning on going to the next 1860 home game, then count me in. I went to the Olympiastadium a couple of times last season an Canuck's right, it's crap with a crowd of 30K.

You guys are right, I´d have rather seen the game in the old stadium as well, but I still plan on going. I´m meeting a friend at the o-stadium sbahn exit at 1830. If you want to join us, lemme know!

BTW, I´m a KSC fan ;-)

Will probably be there tonight with some other KSC fans (who are exiles in Munich...)

FAR OUT! Didn´t know there were more KSC fans in town! I worked a lot in KA and used to watch them all the time. This was 10 years ago (I´d come to Germany during my summer breaks in College). Anyway, as KSC fans know, this was also the heyday of the modern KSC. Beat Valencia and made it to something like the quarterfinal of the UEFA cup. Also of course, Oliver Kahn made a name for himself there. Who remembers Sean Dundee, from South Africa?! He got German citizenship just cause he was a good ball player, then he sorta fizzled out. Anyway, he´ll be there tonight as well (he´s back with the club he started with, and actually not doing too bad.) Ike Hässler, Manni Bender, Tarnat, Novotny, all have the KSC stamp..not too bad. KSC used to be called the minor league Bayern Munich, in that once players made it big there, they invariably transfered to the big boys. Unfortunately that is...these days KSC´s been struggling...They shoulda held onto Winnie Schäfer...anyway..hope to see you all there. Ade.
