fancy going to KingKa on thurs? am gonna watch the footy first and then head over there. know a few peeps who are planning on going there. KingKa on thurs is a good night, they have the House Band playing live, doing loads of great covers etc

Sorry guys, been a little bit delinquent in writing here. We're meeting at Textor tonight, located at Textorstrasse 38 in sachsenhausen. It's a nice chill bar with good ambiance. We're planning to meet there between 9-9:30pm. Feel free to go wherever you want afterwards. Bring my shampoo Thai!!! haha j/k you can wait till next time

i don't have any suggestions for this week and it would have to be later because i'm going go-karting at 7pm... but if people want to meet up, suggest a place and we'll get a crowd there!

I thought "Buena Vista" was a good spot. Everyone seemed to have a good evening ! If it ain't broke don' fix it !

my only complaint about that place is, if you make a reservation, you better show up exactly on the dot or they'll give your reservation away... and service wasn't too good either.

That is thing with Buena Vista they get so much business they cannot afford to hold tables for to long and turn others away. I always thought service was ok though what was wrong?

We turned up 5 mins late. A table booked for so many is bound to give them lots of business, whereas splitting the table up would potentially have meant a big group came and left because there was no space for them.

I guess some folks are meeting at Das Nord2 bar tonight located at Sandweg 64. I might join there later (probably around 10 or 11).

hey...20/f/canadian...just moved to frankfurt...about a month ago...havent met that many people...im an au pair...and NEED to get out of the house...haha..if anyone is interested or maybe i can come to the next meet up...not sure how it all works...but yeah...maybe someone can help me out?

we're meeting at the konstablerwache tram/bus stop at 20:30 tomorrow (april 3rd) to go to the King Kamehameha place. if you want to join, meet us there. we'll be taking tram 11 (direction fechenheim) to get there. stop closest to venue is schwedlerstrasse and the actual address is hanauer landstrasse 129.

don't think you could miss us. hard to miss english speaking people since we're usually louder but just for kicks, look for an asian and a canadian with the names veronica and emily!

Would be nice to join something for the first time but I 'm in A'dam this week and back on Friday. I guess next time or at another event. King Kamehameha is a great place though. Have tons of fun!

yes, need reservations to have dinner. i told the restaurant we might have more dinner-takers though. the way i see it, if you come, they'll make space for you. it's every restaurant's duty to a paying customer.

hotel is right by main station so I was going to walk...looked easy on google maps...pass three bridges and right at the forth.
got to the bridge to cross over and I could barely see the 2nd bridge as a dot in the distance!!! then it started to a rain a little so I had a bit of dim sum and went home.
this is the first non-work internet access I've had since I arrived so I'm making the most of it.

Are we having dinner there if we want to? If yes, I 'll be joining for dinner and maybe a drink afterwards but have to make it back early this time.

Last week's group was around 15 (or more??) but it depends... but usually we'll have at least like 7 or so. I plan on getting some food, so yes for dinner Apostolis!!!
