Yes yes, haven't planned any in the past weeks due to football but meet-up will resume this week. I'm thinking if the weather's nice, we could do a picnic or something. Otherwise we could just go to a restaurant/bar. Any suggestions???

I will join too! My lack of recent showing's has been terrible so I must make amends! Plus, I have no work on Friday as I am off home for a few days! So I can have more then a few refreshments!

KingKa on a thursday with the house band is always a good laugh. Probably one of the best 'covers' bands I have seen.

Always up for a game of tennis so if anyone wants a game then let me know. Recently joined an excellent club in Ginnheim/Bockenheim where I can take a non-member for 10 EUR. Or can play up on public courts up in Eschborn

I would really like to go to the kingka beach club, but need to get there by car . Anyhow, kingka club for later is ok but first i think a more chill out place is better for getting to know each other. that's why i propose a picnic on the main. who objects? I can list things to bring and whoever comes can just write here what they're bringing and i'll try to bring the rest. yay or nay people?

I am easy on where we go/end up as long as it is within cycling distance! I like the picnic idea..so Yay for me!

OH yes KingKa on a Thursday is always great fun and used to be a regular haunt of mine until I became the obsesses marathon trainer/desperate housewife that I now am.

I would be up for coming along this Thursday if I wasn't off on my holidays to France.

oh, picnic sounds great to me! probably wouldn't make it until 9-9:30ish, but happy to bring nibbles and bottle of wine etc. Any idea where you'll be gathering at?

You can easily get to here by taking the Strassenbahn 14 at stop Frankensteiner Platz.

I propose for people to bring the following (please write back what you'll bring and how many of each item and I'll send you my mobile number):

-bottle(s) of wine
-bottle(s) of beer
-bottle of cola/cola light
-plastic cups
-plastic plates
-plastic knives/forks/spoons
-baguette(s)
-slices of ham/salami/turkey/whatever meat
-slices of cheese
-ketchup/mustard
-portable speakers for music

Obviously you can bring things not listed here but please bring enough for 4 or 5 people so we can all share! And depending on how many people will come, we'll adjust the quantities to bring for each item.

So please let me know what you'll bring and i can try to get the rest before Thursday! afterwards we can all go to kingka club.

Also, please don't forget to bring a huge blanket/sheet if you have one!

I will bring:

2 bottles of Rose, brown sauce ;o), cheese (some irish chedder included!) and plastic plates!

Picnic sounds awesome. Every Toytown event I've been to, except the Christmas Market, has been focused around one large table, which meant you were limited to socializing with the people near you. I like to mingle.

It will be me, plus one.

I'll bring:

some veggies (grape tomatoes and baby carrots, whatever else looks snackable);
assorted salami; and
wine if needed (usually alcohol is the easiest thing to bring and there ends up being too much, or at least plenty).

unfortunately, i just saw the weather forecast and it seems like it will thunderstorm tomorrow night! I propose that we postpone this picnic till next thursday then. For tomorrow night, we can all meet at a bar and talk about our excitement for next thursday's picnic! hahah j/k
