German language schools in/near Aachen

Hi Everyone!

I am moving to Aachen this April, and looking to learn German. I don't have any knowladge of German!

Those an one has use them or know about them?
Or know any other schools you can recommend?

I took 2 months of my integration course there. The curriculum set-up is good, but totally dependent on the teacher. We had 3 teachers, 2 of which were fantastic, and 1 that was one of the worst teachers I've ever had in my life. Unfortunately, the bad teacher was there for the majority of the classes. You should be able to sit in on a few classes before you officially enroll. I recommend doing that to see how the teachers are and what their weekly schedules will be.

There is a website I live called How To Germany.

The have a whole section dedicated to Language schools. They recommend Goethe Institute

They have alot more options than the school you listed.

I will arrive to Germany (Dortmund) on March 12, but will move to Aachen on April with my boyfriend who will do his post-doc there.

the university rwth aachen offers german language course too. if your boyfriend is working there, you can take the lessons there. I took my first course there and the teacher was very helpful. There was also a conversation session which was quite fun.
