Is Apple Cider Vinegar different from Apple Vinegar?
If they are, what is Apple Cider Vinegar called in German? Where can I buy it?
TIA

You need ethanol to produce vinegar, so "apple vinegar" can only be made from fermented apple juice, which is pretty much cider anyway. It is harsh stuff, so if there is a subtle difference, it will not be noticable to 99% of the worlds taste buds.
If I wore a suit, had a miniscule IQ, was camp as a row of tents, and therefore qualified to work in marketing, I'd sell apple vinegar as cider vinegar, to jump on the bandwagon that Bulmers has so awesomely created, purely by suggesting that cider should be poured over ice cubes.

If they are just about the same, then it does not matter what A C V is called in German. I have found A V in many stores, even a bio AV.
Thanks

I got mine from a Turkish grocery store.
Called "Apfelessig". Bottle often has a picture of an apple on it.

I got some in Kaufhof but I've seen it in the vinegar section of most supermarkets.

Netto
Rewe, Tenglemann, Plus (the larger ones), Reformhaus.
Its has many good features. I have taken it to help stimulate my metabolism for weight loss, some swear drinking a tablespoon a day helps the immune system, I have used it on yeast infections (don't laugh, its a great treatment).

My mom always adds some to her drinking water.
She says it helps with her arthritis and I've learned never to drink from her water bottle.

I am looking to buy apple cider vinegar in Germany, although it must be the raw, unfiltered type. Can someone tell me what this is called and where I could buy it.

eh? "Raw" cider vinegar? But it's had to be fermented... Do you have a link to such a product in your country of origin?
