Doctors' opening hours on Shrove Tuesday

Does anyone know a decent english speaking doctor (GP) that does walk-ins that you know will be open tomorrow?

I went to my usual doc's today and he was shut for Rosenmontag, unfortunately I went for the late afternoon sitting so it was too late to find another.

I imagine tomorrow will be a whole lot worse as a lot of small businesses close for fasching. I really need to get this sorted quickly.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

The Elisenhof near Hauptbahnhof is always open. I can't imagine a European educated doctor not being able to speak English (even in Germany)...

Elisenhof place is open 24/7 and pretty much all speak english

I would be surprised if they were open this afternoon. Munich is not the Rhineland where life shuts down on Weiberfastnacht through Ash Wednesday.

Time to start imagining... I met not one but two when I was in hospital two years ago, and also got referred to an orthopaedist who didn't speak a word of English. All in Munich, by the way.

You can always just go to a hospital.

If you can speak a bit of German you can call 01805/19 12 12 and they should be able to tell you if the Elisenhof is open today or redirect you elsewhere.

I don't feel as bad today as I did last night when I posted so I'll wait until tomorrow morning when my doc opens as normal, I've had to come into work anyway. I know it isn't a holiday in Munich formally but so many small businesses I know off seem to be shut today I thought I'd better check.
