Hotspot Shield is a free U.S. VPN server.
It can get Fox on Demand, ABC, CBS. Works on all those annoying "Sorry, US residents only" players too.

Hotspot shield is a proxy manager that hides your IP address and therefore your geographical location. To other websites you appear to be located in the USA, so it's a useful tool for TV websites that restrict their viewing to US residents.

You need to go through a stateside proxy server. Really the only good way to do it is if you have a friend in the Statues that is technical and can set one up for you. Otherwise, try googling for downloading American tv shows, might steer you in a better direction.

If you have a stateside bank account, you can use AOL iTunes to download and watch TV shows from the states. It's about 1/3 cheaper than buying the DVDs when they come out.

Thanks very much for the tip. However, there seem to be no Help files, documentation or any support without "submitting my details". I am unable to connect using Hotshield. I don't even see a community forum.
