Members of the US Democratic Party living abroad can vote either in their home state's presidential primary, or in Democrats Abroad's. Global Presidential Primary. There's lots of information on this subject on the TT thread about the GPP. To vote online, by mail, fax, etc, in the GPP, you need to sign up by January 31. However, you can vote in person at specified times and places the week of February 5, which includes the option of joining DA on the spot (you need to bring your passport and proof of residency).

The Berlin area in-person voting takes place at Max and Moritz (Oranienstr. 162, U8 Moritzplatz) Tuesday, February 5 and Saturday, February 9. Here's the info I got from the local DA chapter:

QUOTE
Here in Berlin we will have our Voting Center on Super-Duper Tuesday,
the 5th of February and on Saturday, the 9th of February at Max und
Moritz Restaurant, Oranienstrasse 162 in Berlin Kreuzberg between 7
and 10 PM.

On Super-Duper Tuesday, February 5, 2008, we will also be generating
our platform planks and resolutions for Democrats Abroad in
preparation for the Annual General Meeting of Democrats Abroad,
Germany. If you have voted through another option than in person,
you may still come and attend the platform discussion. After the
Voting Center closes we will be screening the results of the
primaries and caucuses in the US.

On Saturday, the 9th of February 2008, we will also have a cultural
event with live music, spontaneous theater and multimedia. If you
would like to participate or have ideas for our cultural event,
please contact our Voting Center leader Nancy Green at
events@demsinberlin.de.

So it sounds like Super Tuesday might be an event worth attending even for those who opt to vote online ahead of time.

Given the time difference, what time do results start rolling in here locally?
Ami in Berlin
Polls normally close at 8:00 PM local time, so that's 2:00 AM to 5:00 AM. Of course for the caucus states it can be later.

Do yourself a favour and just wake up a little earlier than usual on Wednesday morning (that's what I've been doing for the states that have voted thus far).
