3D Imax special preview of the U2 show

I heard about the U2 3D Imax show and my sister saw it in Denver and said it's great! Just wondering if anyone has heard about it yet for Munich's IMAX place?

Munich'S IMAX is shutdown because of poor attendance

I think that this is coming to Cinema München. Not IMAX but still 3D.
Personally a 2D Bono is bad enough.

U2 3D will also be showing at the IMAX cinema in Nuremberg from mid March

Isn't the problem with I-Max and 3D that there's only so many rides down San Fransisco hills and swims along a reef that you can watch?

Just got back from seeing U2 3D in IMAX in Nürnberg. Was bloody f#cking fantastic. Now, if we could just finally convince all those Germans to pronounce his name correctly

@ Eurobabs - is this mostly concert footage?? I see it is being shown in German, and ich verstehe nur ein bischen ;-) Any thoughts on how that impact my ability to enjoy? Love U2 and loved this concert live...betting it is still worth the drive to Nürnberg?

They are showing it at the old ex-IMAX 3D cinema at the Deutsche Museum too.

Thanks for mentioning - Munich would be much better! Do you know where to find ticket prices and show times for the exIMAX in Munich? I can't seem to find any news of this online?

I went to the one at the Deutsches Museum last night and thought it was incredible. The 3d works really well and the concert itself was fantastic.

I'd recommend it to anybody who enjoys U2, even if just a little bit , for the experience.
