I've noticed that Invest in Bavaria has an excellent guide for newcomer's to the Munich area. 100+ pages on housing, provisioning, transportation, schooling, taxes, visas, dining and everyday issues for anyone coming to Munich. In fact, a lot of the information is applicable to newcomer's in any part of Germany. Pretty useful info.
