Eleanor Rigby
She has a better chance of getting her voice heard than I do, sitting on my couch, watching Weeds.

Kudos to her, wish I had the wherewithall to get off my butt and stand up for something I believe in but I'd rather watch TV and spout off to you lot on TT.

He got arrested because giving the finger to anyone in Germany is a crime.

Funny, innit? We moan about Country A or Country B and their overbearing laws on how a woman should dress, or if a man shouldn't shave his face, etc. and then the country we live in actually arrests citizens for the particular arrangement and display of a digit. World's gone barkin' mad if you ask me. Did the little Police manny cry? I bet you a farthing to an old lump of iron he didn't.

Except that it seems that all most of these twonks believe in is the actual act of protesting.

Protesting don't get you anywhere. You need tanks and bazookas and things. Then they'll sit up and listen.

You may will if you have too. But in the mean time the sofa is as good a place as any to protest from!
Sin
Armoured sofa?
