Dinner and drinks meet up in Wiesbaden

hey guys,

anyone up for meeting up next tuesday? maybe dinner and a few drinks afterwards? let me know if you guys are interessted and what location would suit most of the people

I know i said Tuesday would work but Thurday would be even better. I do not really have any ideas as to places to go. Anyone else have any ideas or refferals?

I am interested but only Tues or Wed. How about that Swedish/Viking place near to a small spring thing? If anyone know what I'm talking about because I forgot the name of the restaurant I can find out if I walk by tomorrow.

hmmm i think there are a bit more people able to go on tuesdays. should we have a nother meet up the week after on thursdays? what do you guys think?

...I couldn't make next Thursday but generally Thursdays are good for me!

so i would suggest to just meet up on tuesday at the wiking thing lets say at around 7? and meet up the week after either at the same place or somewhere else for the ones who can't make it on tuesday.

Your meet up on Tuesday sounds like fun:-) and I'd like to come along,
but since I'm new to TT I feel uncomtable about whether I can just show up...?? Plus, since I don't know what any of you look like I would end up walking
around aimlessly and asking strangers in English about a TT meet up(which could be fun also ) .
I'm an American living in Germany and was trilled when I recently found TT!!

well how about we settle for tuesday at 7:30 at the webers (see link above)

i will bring my stitch (the bigger one this time, since the frankfurt guys didn't notice the small one) stuffed animal (see picture) so we can find each other. I will also reserve a table and will tell the people at the restaurant to show you where we sit if you ask for the english speaking group.

I am going to be on a work trip on Tuesday so won't be able to make it...depending what time i get back though i might be up for meeting you guys for a beer afterwards.

If I get back in time, I'll drop by too.

since the four of us (Tim, Chris, Carima and I) had so much fun yesterday we decided to have another meet up. Right now we're eyeing the 14th. Hope this gives everybody enough time to block that evening

changed it to the 15th, so maybe we can all go and have dinner and go out to where ever afterwards. and tim can bring his friend who was looking for a good location to go out to in wiesbaden. maybe we'll find something lol

darn... i just got invited to a b-day party on the 15th... hmm we could maybe meet up on the 12th or i'll just organize the 15th but won't show up we could also switch it to the 16th (saturday) and party like crazy and use the sunday as a recover day lol let me know what you guys think

Has anyone tried that little sushi place downtown? I can't remember the name, but it has a big planet earth on the sign. (It's been about 3 years since I have been there!!!)

nope haven't been to a sushi place in wiesbaden yet. would love to go so. do you know if they have all you can eat or some specials? sushi is so expensive otherwise...

i overstrained my foot. doc says he doesn't know how long it will take to get better. BUT i will get it checked out again hopefully next week. i am supposed to rest it, but i guess i can hobble to the sushi place

so everybody else - chris and i were thinkin about maybe joining the people in darmstadt. maybe we can get a car pool together or something. meet in the middle somewhere so it's cheaper for everybody to get to darmstadt. let me know what you guys think
