After the success of the posting on Griesheim in bringing a group of English speakers together, I was wondering if there are any Bad Homburg residents out there?

I live in Bad Homburg but spend pretty much all of my waking time in Frankfurt. Would be good to shift to exploring some more "local" places!

When I lived there a group of us used to hang out at Null Zwo, Kurt and his wife were nice people and we used to have some good late sessions where he would pull out the guitar. No idea if there would be still English speakers hanging out there but it was a good spot!

Just need some people to come along with me now...!

My wife, kids and I have lived in Bad Homburg for six years. I'm American, she's German.

We've managed to assemble an eclectic group of English-speaking neighborhood expatriate acquaintances, and we go out locally for drinks and/or dinner occasionally.

Only potential downside is that we're all c. 10 years older than you appear to be, so we might all be way too boring for words :-(

Add me, I have moved to BH last month from Frankfurt. So it seems that we have half a dozen people already. It'd be nice to make a date. I live not too far from the castle park, but i suppose everyone else does, except perhaps Friedrichsdorf.

Hi- I would generally be interested in a Bad Homburg meetup but Sunday nights are not ususally good for me. Any chance on moving this to a Friday night?

Fridays arent good for me in the near future but if this event works out and we organise a second one (or if nobody can make the Sunday), will definitely try for a Friday at a later time.

We live in Oberursel about an S-Bahn stop away. I'll see if I can interest the better half into coming along.

I checked out Null Zwo and despite their website saying they are open "daily" from 20:00, they are in fact closed on Sundays.

Will have a think and post a meeting place today or tomorrow...

Everyone who joined the meet was two and a half weeks younger then than they are now.

Disappointingly old and married with kids. But therefore a non-threatening and (so I'm told) delightful racounteur. I'm on the second "staycation" leg of two weeks off, and am already a bit tired of grilling, and fully intend to follow up with a Frankfurt curry night as well.

I am now off to feed the ponies, flip the burgers and watch Top Gear with my son and daughter ... if that doesn't completely scare you off

I have plans for Tuesday. Is Thursday ok? We can also all go to the curry night on Wednesday and just decide then when to meet next.
