@marymanu - Thanks for backing me.
@Kay, @Silty1 - I'm feeling attacked and picked on by your comments.
(beat)
@Kay, @Silty1 -

Sigh. Do I really need to define what is obviously clear?!? Or do the British and Canadians just not use the word 'fan' in the way Americans do?
fan 2 (fān)
nounAn ardent devotee; an enthusiast. [Short for
fanatic.]
--"fan."
The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth Edition. Houghton Mifflin Company, 2004. <Dictionary.com
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/fan>. (Accessed: February 26, 2008).
@Kay, @Silty1 - I'm not sure if you two deserve such a patient answer from me, but alas, just in case you were innocently confused and your comments not laced with hostility... "I am a fan of pyschotherapy," means I am
pro-psychoanalysis; I believe in it; I find it helpful.
I don't attach a stigma to clients of pyschological therapy. (Otherwise, I'd have to attach one to myself!)
I think it's a healthy thing. I even credit therapy for a large part of my current maturity.
@marymanu - Once again, if you find one, let us know. Really good therapists are hard to find.
