Salsa dancing at Soda Club, KulturBrauerei

Soda Club in the kulturbrauerei hold beginner and intermediate Salsa lessons for 4 Euros every Sunday night starting at 7pm.

They have two rooms beginners runs in one and intermediate in the other for one hour. After that they play Salsa music all night so you can practice your newly learnt moves.

If anyone wants to come along let me know. Don't worry if you don't have a partner there are plenty of people to ask to dance and plenty of people asking to dance.

Oh and the class is in German but don't worry about that either, just copy what the other people are doing. (But for those that may be a bit worried just learn the words vorn, zurueck, kurze, lang, bleib, fuss, boden, pause and wescheln and smile and that will get you through a beginner class haven't got a clue in the intermediate and won't do for some time. Oh and they sell alcohol if you need it to help improve your co-ordination like I do.)

So how can you resist a Salsa lesson and a German lesson in one.

I think i've almost convinced myself that i want to go to this but i have never salsa-ed before and have all the grace of a hippo - will that be a problem?!

There are lots of places close to there, maybe we could just meet in front of there and walk somewhere?

I think it would just be easier to meet outside Soda around 6:30 and grab a drink there. They have nice lounge/table area that people hang out in before and after. VIF it's none smoking in there.
