Hey all, I'm trying to save money for my Backpacking adventures after my Au Pair contract is completed, and need extra money to fund this. I'm great as a babysitter, have good people skills and am experienced in retail and sales - but have poor german! Something a little different - I'm an excellent Tennis and Squash racket restringer, having worked at a Tennis Pro Shop for 2 years.

Does anyone need someone for odd jobs, babysitting? Or does anyone know of any specialty tennis shops I could contact that might need a restringer?

Unfortunately I already have an au pair job between those hours mon-fri, I'm just looking for flexible extra work on evenings, mornings and weekends. Good luck finding an au pair though!

Maybe ask in the Irish pubs in D-dorf if they need any staff for evening shifts?

Do you do cleaning? And could you get to Meerbusch (it's on the U-Bahn ... 74, 76 or 70 from the Hauptbahnhof)?

have you ever thought of (or heard of) Nachhilfe?

I personally charge 30 EUR per "Doppelstunde" for basic grammar and conversation help. I get all the materials for free off the internet and photocopy at work (granted I am an Englsih teacher, but you could also do this if you are a native speaker.)

I undercharge, compared to what my colleagues charge, so why don't you think about it?
