I actually dreamt of this event last night. And how did it end? With me running off with a male TTer! (And no, not BTC. Or anyone else who's posted on here, for that matter.) But since that's theoretically impossible at the GNO, I can only conclude that this thread has corrupted me completely. So thanks, boys. Thanks a lot.

Deadline is and was monday, but I am also going skiing tomorrow with the boys. And since I can't do all three (meet the deadline, do GNO and ski with the kids) one had to give. For once it's not the deadline. If by some miracle I meet my Friday goal within reason, then I will be there with bells on and handcuffs in my back pocket

Sorry didn't get a chance to chat to the ladies at the other end of the table, but when they gave away the bar area of our reservation, sort of made it difficult to move around. Next time, we will just take over the whole place, heck, most people cleared out before the 2nd happy hour at 11.

FA, thank you for organizing this and keeping your cool when the reservation went awry. Thanks to all the ladies who stood up to the staff and thanks to the staff for being fairly quick with drinks. The Escobar burger beats the Arcburger by lengths as to sheer muchness but the French fries weren't half as good.

eeeeuuurgh, you gals know how to party!!! Thanks to all of you I met. I had an absolute hoot and ended up dancing til the wee small hours with Jo and Gael. Suffering this morning though.

I really enjoyed last night, everyone was in a good mood and chatty, which was nice.
The table arrangement was pretty lousy, hard to get around and not enough seats.
Also, I was a bit annoyed that they didn't have a tampon machine or free ones at the bar.

Oh and who footed the bill? Did everyone pay up?

Where did you go dancing?

three of us went to Carmen's Lounge (the gay club and not Carm's sitting room) which was cheesy and gay. We danced our socks off. Though bizarrely it was only the women that attracted any kind of attention ...

I was supposed to meet my boyfriend afterwards at the Outland. And in a fit of stupidity, didn't get out of Escobar until way past when I was supposed to meet him. So I would like to tell him that even though he's still extremely pissed off with me (and rightly so) that I am so sorry for not turning up when I said I would. I love him to bits and can't imagine not having him with me. We've been through a lot together. He's hands down the best guy I've ever met and ... well, I love him.

Oh, and I also checked whether the place was up to scratch by asking staff for a free condom, even though I didn't need one, since I think bars should cater for such needs. Yeah, crap venue. Tsk.

Well, that was quite an evening. It was a bit late by the time I made it there - sounds like I missed some of the best bits, including the book. I presume the purpose of the cucumber was as a demonstration aid. Looking forward to the pix. I didn't bring handcuffs after all, as I could only see one way of procuring them after 9pm, and I couldn't think how to explain that to the policeman.

Nice to see Bell the Cat again, and also BadDoggie, who I think enjoyed getting whipped by one or two ladies. Lurker Mark also made a surprise appearance, and stayed briefly before abducting some females to some nearby temple of, er, oriental delights. Hey, and what's that about going dancing with BTC afterwards? How come I missed that?
